Locations

  • Putah Creek

A technical valley tailwater tucked away just under Lake Berryessa. A heritage wild trout stream full of feisty wild rainbow trout. If fishing tiny flies on light tippet is your game, then you have to try Putah Creek.

  • American River

A valley tailwater with a large variety of fish depending on the season. With large steelhead running in the Winter, halfpound steelhead Spring and Fall, and Shad and Striper in the Summer. This river has lots of options.

  • Feather River

A valley tailwater that can be extremely fun when the fish are running. Drifting, or walk and wade are both productive methods. If you want some steelhead fun, this is a great place to start.

  • Yuba River

A technical valley tailwater at the base of the Sierra Nevadas. Hard fighting wild rainbow trout and steelhead is the game here. With a legendary Stonefly hatch come spring. This is a river where dry flies are common play, unlike many of the major tailwater in the area. The Yuba is an incredible water, that if you live in Northern California, you have to fish at least once…

  • Lower Sacramento River

A valley tailwater that fishes all year round for beautiful wild rainbow trout. With good trout water all the way from Redding to Red Bluff. With great fishing, and beautiful scenery, this is a river that you can get away to and know you’ll have a good time.
